Our Story
The name FiANACO comes from the Malagasy word Fiana – "new breath".
The company was founded in 2017 to bring this new energy of innovation and impact to the financial sector.

Support for financial institutions (banks, microfinance, postal networks) to better reach underserved populations through complementary channels (Mobile Money, banking agents, Mobile Scoring), while maintaining a strong and trusted relationship with them.
Telecom Operators
Support for Mobile Money providers and FinTechs to maximize their impact on populations by offering second-generation services (automated savings and credit products) that foster financial inclusion.
Governments & trainings
Advisory services for governments, ministries, and regulators (telecom authorities, central banks) to promote digital financial inclusion.
Development of training programs tailored to reach the widest possible audience.

Simon Priollaud Co-Founder
Simon co-founded FiANACO in 2017 and dedicates his time on bringing (Digital) Financial Inclusion to the next level. Over the last 15 years Simon has supported more than 60 institutitons (Banks, MFIs, VSLAs, Mobile Money Solutions, Agent Banking solutions,governments...) in designing and implementing DFS Projects.
Simon is regularly giving lectures on Digital Finance at Telecom ParisTech.
Dominique Pinoche
Co-Founder
Dominique co-founded FiANACO in 2017. He has more than 25 years of experience in financial services. From the creation from scratch of an international bank to the management of institutions , he has brought his expertise to the Digital Finance area over the last eight years.
He implemented 3 large projects (budget > EUR 1M) on Digital Finance across Africa and Asia for international institutions (Gate Foundation, World Bank)
Katia Duhamel
Regulatory Expert
Katia is an Associated Consultant of FiANACO. She brings her 20years of experience in regulaiton applied to new technologies. Katia developed the Bird and Bird Paris Practice on Telecom in emerging countries until 2014. She now continues on supporting institutions and Governments on the digital development and
in particular Digital Financial Services.
