FiANACO — from the Malagasy Fiana, meaning "new breath" — is a consultancy firm established in 2017. We leverage the power of digital technology to achieve global development goals.

Our Team

Simon Priollaud

Co-founder of FiANACO since 2017, Simon has spent the past fifteen years advancing digital financial inclusion. He has supported more than 60 institutions - including banks, microfinance institutions, mobile money operators, mobile banking providers, governments, central banks and international organizations - in the design and rollout of digital projects. He has worked on the ground in more than 20 countries across Africa and Asia and also teaches regularly at Télécom Paris in degree programmes.

Dominique Pinoche

Co-founder of FiANACO since 2017, Dominique brings more than 30 years of experience in financial services and over 15 years in digital finance. From building banks internationally to leading financial institutions operationally, he has managed several projects worth over one million euros in Africa and Asia for the Gates Foundation and the World Bank.

Katia is an Associate Consultant at FiANACO. She brings 20 years of experience in law applied to information and communication technologies. After developing Bird & Bird Paris’s telecom practice across emerging markets until 2014, she now advises institutions and governments on digital development projects, with a particular focus on digital financial services.

Since 2026, we have been developing a practical guide for the United Nations Development Programme to strengthen digital finance across the Arab States.

In 2026, we supported the city of Kinshasa in improving the digitization of waste management payments.

In 2025, FiANACO supported Agence Française de Développement in shaping its group-wide open finance strategy, with a focus on key challenges, opportunities and implementation across regions.
